1.WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVEHOTEL TO CONSTRUCT
The Emirates Palace Hotel on the Abu Dhabi Corniche is the world’s most expensively constructed hotel. So, if you wish to feel like a king or queen if only for a night, this is the place to stay.The hotel cost more than $3,000,000,000.00 to build, that's three billion dollars for those of you that can't count all the zeros.
It is adorned with golden flagpoles, golden chandeliers and golden finials on its rooftop domes along with 1,002 swarovski crystal chandeliers. With your stay, you will enjoy not only the décor but also the 12 restaurants and about a mile of private beach. The rates for a nights stay for the modest rooms begin at $773. On the other hand, the palace suite features a living room, dining room and three bedrooms with a touch-screen remote control in the bedroom for as much as $11,200.00 per night.

2.WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE APARTMENT
The most expensive apartment in the world is one of the penthouse units in this high-class building, costing over 100 million pounds, about 200 million dollars American. Every penthouse will feature bulletproof glass, panic rooms, and an underground tunnel that leads to a hotel nearby, among other security features. If you like the look but don’t have that kind of cash, you can buy another one of the units for 20 million pounds, approximately 40 million dollars American.

3.WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE BANK
With the rate of inflation and and the urge to build bigger and better buildings this record may not last long.
The most expensive building ever built that we could find is the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong designed by architect Ieoh Ming Pei.
The Bank of China Tower, built in 1989, is 72 stories, measuring 369 meters or 1,209 feet and cost $1 billion USD to build.






4.WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE CAR

Between 1927 and 1933 a total of 6 Bugatti Type 41 Royale cars were produced. MSRP at the time: about $42,000.00 USD.
In 1990 one of the Bugattis sold for $15 million USD in Japan.


5.WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE CASINO

The Wynn Las Vegas designed by Steve Wynn and Tom Fazio holds the honor of being the world's most expensive casino.
Boasting 2,716 rooms, 50 stories, a luxury sports car dealership and 111,000 ft² of gaming space, the Wynn Las Vegas now stands where the Desert Inn once did.
After 3 years in the making the Wynn opened on April 28 2005 at a cost of $2.7 Billion USD.


6.WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVECELL PHONE

In September 2006 GoldVish Luxury Communications of Geneva sold the world's most expensive cell phone.
The phone, nicknamed Le Million, is made of 18-carat white gold studded with 1,800 diamonds totaling 120 carats give or take a carat or two.
The phone was purchased by a Russian businessman for his wife at a cost of $1.3 million USD.



7.WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE COGNAC

The most expensive cognac is Henri IV Dudognon Heritage and it is named after a French king. This king’s family has been making the cognac since 1776. The wine is placed in barrels where it will age for one hundred years. These barrels need to be air dried for five years before any cognac can be placed into them. The cognac that comes out of the barrels after one-hundred-and-five years is 41% alcohol, making it 82 proof.The bottle in which the cognac is placed also contributes to it being the most expensive cognac in the world. The bottle is dipped in twenty-four karat gold and sterling platinum before being decorated with 6,500 brilliant cut diamonds. The total cost for this fine bottle of cognac? $2 million USD.



8.WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVECOMPUTER

The Japanese manufacturer, Zeus, has created a desktop computer called Jupiter that comes in a case that is so beautiful there is very little like it on earth – in computer cases or otherwise. This case is made entirely of platinum and the brilliant jewels that have been encrusted onto it sparkle in the shape of different constellations. The machine inside this magnificent case is an Intel 3GHZ E6850 Core 2 Duo CPU, with 2GB of DDR 2 memory. The machine also features a 1TB hard drive, and a dual Blu-Ray/HD DVD drive. To further ensure that the customer is getting the most bang for their very many bucks, the computer also comes with a 24”, 1920 x 1200 native resolution monitor. The world’s most expensive computer can be picked up for eighty million yen, which is approximately $750,000 USD. For customers who want this fabulous look for a fraction of the price, the computer case is also available in gold instead of platinum, dropping the price to a mere sixty million yen, or $560,000 USD.

9.WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE MOVIE

If you look purely at production cost King Kong (2005) edges out Superman Returns (2006) by a paltry $3 million USD.
The tab for King Kong ran $207 million while Superman Returns lightened investors wallets by only $204 million.







10.WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVEPIECE OF FURNITURE

On July 05 1990 Christie's sold the Badminton Cabinet for $15 million.
The cabinet was commissioned in 1726 by Henry Somerset, the third duke of Beaufort.
It took about 30 craftsmen six years to build the Badminton Cabinet out of ebony, gilt-bronze and pietra dura.
But it doesn't end here.
On December 09 2004 the cabinet went up for auction once again at Christies. After furious bidding the gavel came down and Dr. Johan Kraeftner, director of the Liechtenstein Museum in Vienna, on behalf of Prinz Hans-Adam II of Liechtenstein, had the winning bid on the world's most expensive piece of furniture at £19,045,250.00 or $36,662,106.00 USD.
