1.WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE BOOK


The monks of the Benedictine monastery Helmarshausen were commissioned by Brunswick's ruler Henry and his wife Mathilde in 1188 to write the Gospels of Henry the Lion.
The book is the record of Henry's political ambitions to become one of the most powerful ruler in his era.
The book sold at auction in 1983 for 32.5 million deutsche marks or just about $12 million USD.



2.WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE CAVIAR


If you want to enjoy the world's most expensive caviar you would have to.
Not long ago even your $25,000.00 would get you a tin as it was so rare that it was reserved only for Tsars.
Almas (Russian for gold) caviar comes from a 100+ year old Beluga Sturgeon from the Caspian Sea. The roe is white in color and the older the fish, the lighter the roe is.

The most expensive pack of Lucky Strikes had a price tag of $100,000 and was used to heighten the sales of the Lucky Strike brand.

Lakshmi N Mittal, one of the richest people in the world bought the mansion from Bernie Ecclestone in 2004 for about $10 million USD per bedroom for a grand total of $128 million USD.
Hearst Castle in California was built in the 1920's - 30's for William Randolph Hearst at a cost of about $30 million USD, which would equal just under $280 million USD today.
